Serving Our Community: 200 Families Fed Through Food Distribution Outreach

We’re filled with gratitude as we reflect on another successful food distribution event at FCF. Thanks to the dedication of our incredible volunteers and the generosity of our supporters, we were able to serve 200 families in need!

From yesterday morning prep to the last box handed out, the spirit of compassion and unity was evident in every smile, every bag packed, and prayer shared. This outreach wasn’t just about food—it was about showing love in action, offering hope, and meeting real needs in our community.

We recognize that for many families, times are tough. Being able to lighten the load, even a little, is a blessing we don’t take lightly. We are humbled by the opportunity to serve and will continue to be a place where people can find both practical help and spiritual encouragement.

To everyone who volunteered, donated, prayed, and spread the word—thank you. You made a difference.

Back to School Backpack Bash – Another Incredible Year!

We’re so grateful for another joyful and impactful event! From exciting games to great food, the day was full of laughter and community. We were honored to bless families with backpacks and, most importantly, witness lives touched by the love of Christ.

As we come together to clear the church garden, we do more than pull weeds and tilt the soil. We’re preparing a sacred space for growth, renewal, and a bountiful harvest. Planting seeds isn't just about cultivating vegetables or flowers; it's about sowing hope, nurturing faith, and reaping the rewards of our collective labor.

We had an amazing time filled with lots of fun games and delicious food. We were blessed to give away backpacks, and most importantly, many people came to the Lord!

Kingdom Kids Get Their Hands Dirty (and Earn Some Pizza!)

This past week, our Kingdom Kids group took on a special mission—not in the classroom, but right outside our church walls! With gloves on and hearts full of enthusiasm, these young servants helped beautify our church grounds by pulling weeds and tidying up the area around the building.

It was more than just a clean-up project—it was an opportunity to teach our children the value of taking care of God’s house and serving with joyful hearts. As they worked together, there was laughter, teamwork, and a real sense of pride in what they were accomplishing. And let’s be honest, they did an amazing job!

Of course, we couldn’t let their hard work go unnoticed. After all the weeds were pulled and the job was done, we celebrated the Kingdom Kids with a well-earned pizza party! It was our way of saying “thank you” and letting them know that their contribution matters—because even the smallest hands can make a big impact.

We’re so proud of our Kingdom Kids for their willingness to serve and their eagerness to help. They’re not just the future of the church—they’re a vital part of it right now.

Let’s continue to encourage and nurture their servant hearts. Great job, Kingdom Kids!

Sharing Love on Valentine’s Day: A Special Visit to Somerset Assisted Living

This past Valentine’s Day Sunday, our church had the joy and privilege of bringing love beyond our walls as we visited the residents of Somerset Assisted Living Facility.

With hearts full of compassion and hands ready to serve, we spent time connecting with the residents, offering warm smiles, heartfelt conversations, and small tokens of love to brighten their day. It was a beautiful reminder that simple acts of kindness can go a long way in making others feel seen, valued, and loved.

Our visit was more than just a holiday gesture—it was a reflection of Christ’s love in action. The laughter, the shared prayers, and the joy in the room made it clear: love is powerful, especially when shared.
